This week the EU celebrates European Hydrogen Week in Europe. ZeroAvia, a proud member of the Hydrogen Europe coalition (and more recently the Alliance for Zero-Emission Aviation in addition), will be busy championing the role that hydrogen can have in tackling aviation’s climate change through our presence at the Flagship Conference and Expo.
It’s a critical time for this celebration and these discussions in Europe, coming as the EU works towards final positions on a raft of measures including the Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation, ReFuel EU Aviation and the Renewable Energy Directive III, all part of the wider efforts of the bloc to reduce emissions by 55% come 2030. Our message will be that hydrogen is not only increasingly recognised as the fuel of the future in aviation, but it can also contribute to these interim net zero goals! We can be flying guilt-free across Europe this decade thanks to R&D progress being made by ourselves and other innovators.
So we’re delighted to be out in force this week talking about ZeroAvia’s roadmap to delivering zero-emission flight. We will be exhibiting at the Hydrogen Europe Flagship Conference and Expo at Stand 67. We will also be participating in the High Level Policy Conference at the opening of the week, before Julian Renz, Head of Programmes & Impact, joins a panel at the B2B conference to discuss hydrogen’s role in the aviation sector. You can catch Julian’s panel session—entitled E-fuels: future markets and challenges—on Wednesday 26th October at 16:45–18:00 CET.
If you want to organise a meeting with any of our team on site at the conference this week, please get in touch using the form below.
